Before class you should -
- Read the corresponding chapter(s) without taking notes or underlining
- Download materials from this website
- Study the vocab words (flashcards... etc.) KNOW THE VOCAB WORDS
- Read the chapter a second time
During class you should -
- Attend all classes, pay attention and take very few notes. The notes you take from lecture shoud just clarify what you didn't understand when you read.
- Ask questions, ask questions, ask questions
After class you should -
- Reread the section focusing on the topics covered in class.
- That same day, review your notes from lecture
- Become part of a study group and teach each other the material, ask each other questions
- Write down questions about the material you don't understand
- Study the vocabulary
